Tara

I first arrived at this work when training as a dancer. I was suffering from an injury to my lower back and, not only was I amazed by the way my pain was transformed after treatment, but I also felt strangely different, as though something deeper had changed. I always felt that the work was addressing much more than the symptom I went in for.

Years later, I qualified as a Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapist from the Craniosacral Therapy Educational Trust in London, under the tuition of Michael Kern, Katherine Ukleja, Tracy Evans and other inspiring tutors. I hold a Diploma in ‘Living Anatomy’, fully accredited by the Association of Physical and Natural Therapists (APNT) and a First Aid at Work certificate.

Additional to my craniosacral practice, I gained MA in Dance Performance from Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music & Dance in 2009 and continue to work professionally in the field of dance and choreography. My training and experience in movement underpins my understanding of the body in all its richness and wisdom. These enquiries inform my approach as a hands-on therapist.

In 2019 I assisted on the 'Living Anatomy' course at CTET. I engage in Continued Professional Development to enrich and deepen my practice and I receive regular supervision, which supports me to support my clients. I am also a registered member of the Craniosacral Therapy Association and fully adhere to their Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice.

I am currently studying Tai Chi (Taiji Quan) and Chi Gong with teacher Samuel Hallett in my home town, Bristol.
